Judith Soal Psychotherapy in Dalston & Hackney

Sessions

Before you begin therapy we will schedule an initial consultation to discuss the prospect of working together, to help you decide whether you would like to  proceed. If so we will arrange a regular time to meet, at least once a week, with each session lasting up to 50 minutes. Online sessions last up to 45 minutes.

My practice is often busy and I may not be able to offer you a regular time immediately, so you may need to wait a while before you begin. If this does not suit you I will refer you to a colleague.

I charge for missed sessions unless I have at least 48 hours notice but will try to reschedule if you let me know in advance.

I have a limited number of reduced-cost sessions for people on benefits and those with low wages. Low-cost therapy is also on offer at the Site Clinic for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.

Timing

The Dalston practice does not have a waiting room so please arrive at the agreed time. There are coffee shops nearby on Kingsland Road or Dalston Lane if you are early.

Fees

We will discuss a regular fee during your initial consultation. A limited number of reduced-price sessions may be available for those in need; low-cost therapy is also on offer at the Site Clinic for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.

Location

My private practice is between Dalston Kingsland, Hackney Downs and Hackney Central in E8, and is easily accessible from Stoke Newington, Islington, Clapton, London Fields, Homerton and the rest of north and east London. It is well served by the London Overground and local bus services along Kingsland Road, Amhurst Road and Dalston Lane.
